Medical Surgical Specialists has one of the largest graduate medical education programs in the country, meaning that most physicians who study at the clinic have already received their medical degree.

Medical Surgical Specialists trains in a variety of medical programs and specialties including internal medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, geriatrics, neurology, and plastic surgery. In addition, many clinic residents in the full spectrum of medical specialties spend one to three months training with Medical Surgical Specialists physicians. Additional training programs are planned in minimally invasive surgery, urogynecology, voiding dysfunction, electrodiagnositc medicine, movement disorders, stroke, spine surgery, and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
